COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH Compressive strength of concrete mixes with various percentage of marble dust as replacement of cement at age of 7 days and 28 days respectively are shown in and From Table 10 and 11 it can be observed that with the replacement of cement with marble dust for 5% 10% there is an increase in the strength at 7days as well as at 28 days.
It can be noticed that 5% replacement of cement with marble dust in mild condition and 10% replacement of cement with marble dust in mild condition, are showing increase in compressive strength. Tensile Strength test; Mechanical behaviour of cylindrical specimens prepared without chemical admixtures was studied by tensile strength test.
We describes the feasibility of using the marble sludge dust in concrete production as partial replacement of cement. Presented by Rul,Jamsheed, Shanil, Geo, and Jagdeesh, under the guidance of Miss; DIVYA RAJAN guidance towards the partial fulfilment of the requirements for the award of bachelor of technology degree in civil engineering, of the university of Calicut during the year 2011.

· Effect of partial replacement of cement by marble on bond strength was tested according to IS 2770 Part 1 (2007) . 3 cubes of 100 mm * 100 mm * 100 mm each for different percentages of replacement with HYSD bars of 10 mm diameter were cast and cured for 28 days.
Leaving the waste materials to the environment directly can cause environmental problem. Hence the reuse of waste material has been emphasized. Partial replacement of cement by varying percentage of marble dust Powder powder reveals that increased

Partial replacement of marble powder in cement accordingly in the range of 20%, 30%, 40%, by weight for M20 grade of concrete. With this experimental research work the problem of waste production management of this agro waste are will be solved.
powder and quarry sand as partial replacement of cement and fine aggregate in concrete and comparing it with conventional concrete. This experimental investigation is carried out in three phases in 1st phase M20 grade of concrete is produced by replacing cement with 0%, 5%, 10% 15% of Marble
with marble dust with replacement from 10%, 20%, 25% and 30%.The investigation indicates that replacement of cement by marble waste powder at different ranges, in concrete production, results in higher compressive strength, split tensile strength and flexural strength as of concrete specimens without marble dust.
